Bookkeeper / Accounting Technician
Our client is a small, but prestigious, luxury rental company (real estate investments) located downtown Montreal. They are currently looking to expand their team, by hiring a Bookkeeper / Accounting technician.
You will be asked to consolidate data for investment reporting, prepare investment summaries and performance reports as well as internal reports, do all the investment accounts write-ups and bookkeeping, reconcile the banking statements, assist the controller with various tasks, participate in process improvements and special projects, etc.
The ideal candidate has Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in accounting or related field, very good knowledge of Excel (Ms Office Suite), at least one year of experience in a similar type of role (prior experience working with investment accounting is a big asset), excellent English skills and be able to speak French. She also needs to be detailed-oriented, professional, have a strong ability to manage deadlines (time management skills), and be able to work from 9AM to 5:30PM or 8:30 to 5PM (non-flexible schedule).
