Charlie Ruel

Junior Talent Acquisition Consultant

Having at heart interpersonal relations as well as work relations, I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Laval University, and I am in the final stages of obtaining a master’s degree in industrial relations from University of Montréal. In my beginnings as a young professional, I held positions in human resources as a generalist. Now, I am proud to take my career to new horizons as a Junior Talent Acquisition Consultant.

Considering myself as a persevering, thoughtful and above all dedicated person, it is with my head up that I embrace new challenges and new adventures both personally and professionally. In addition to these qualities, I have developed through my experiences and interactions excellent communication skills by adopting an active listening attitude that promotes respectful exchanges.

Being a lover of the outdoors, I often find refuge away from the big city, to take some time out in the wilderness to appease my envy of exploring new mountains to climb or to find new places where I can install my tent. Although, I like to enjoy the metropolitan for its cultural richness and certainly to discover new restaurants. Another way to win my heart is wine bars and fine dinners.

Meticulous and tidy, I handle each and every project with care so nothing is left behind.  My strong interest towards language and grammar allows me to enhance all the texts I work on, and I can adapt my editorial skills to all types and levels of language. I am often known for my unifying nature, my approachability and my contagious laughter. To me, teamwork really is the key to success!

When I’m not hiding behind my screen, I like to go on walks with my dog Kyra, attend to festivals, fly away to a new “pack sac” destination, drink a latte with my sisters or clean thoroughly my house — ask my boyfriend, it helps me relax. My definition of happiness includes my family and my friends, a nice and cold Chablis (thank me later) and amazing food.
