Our client is an organization that works to improve practice conditions in intermediate resources for different living environments and support services. They are currently looking to fill an Executive Assistant position to join their team located in Montreal.

Profile

  • Diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in secretarial studies, office automation or any other combination of relevant experience;
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a similar role, with experience in the healthcare sector considered an asset;
  • Excellent French and English seen as an asset;
  • Human values, compassion and focused on one’s own well-being and that of others;
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy and developed sense of initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Executive Director’s right-hand person by planning his meetings with government authority, political attaché, etc., and by working in collaboration with other directors;
  • Attend Executive Committee meetings once (1) every two (2) weeks, and board of Directors meetings;
  • Organize various meetings, including room reservations, set-up and order, materials, meals, etc.;
  • Forward relevant documentation to general meeting members;
  • Layout PowerPoint presentations for general meetings and any other documents requested by management;
  • Review general meetings’ minutes;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of various files;
  • Compile different statistics and produce reports that meet the needs of management;
  • Draft and review correspondence;
  • Ensure the conformity of the Association in all documents;
  • Collaborate on the logistic of the Association’s events and training courses;
  • Perform any other related tasks as requested by management.
