Political Administrative Assistant

Our client, a large organization made up of several municipalities located in downtown Montreal, is currently seeking a Political Administrative Assistant to join its supportive Politics Department team.

  • Hybrid and flexible work schedule of 32.5 hours per week (plus the chance to have a summer schedule);
  • Three (3) weeks of vacation plus two (2) weeks of vacation during the holiday season;

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in an administrative position in support to a team;
  • Excellent knowledge of Office 365;
  • Sincere interest for politics and news;
  • Flawless French (English an asset);
  • Ability to work under pressure, intellectual curiosity, proactivity, etc.


  • Support a team of advisors (7) in the development, production and presentation of all their major files;
  • Coordinate the logistics of significant meetings;
  • Revise, correct, write and layout of official documents (correspondence, briefs, letters, procedures, etc.);
  • Provide input to optimize texts and methodologies;
  • Manage the calendar and deadlines;
  • Perform data entry;
  • Participate in the mailing and compilation of surveys, etc.
