Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or related discipline;
• At least eight (8) years in human resources management;
• CHRP/CRIA professional designation (an asset);
• Knowledge of the construction industry (an asset);
• Excellent command in French and intermediate English;
• Autonomy, sense of priorities and analytical mind developed;
• Ability to be organized and adaptable and be recognized for his interpersonal and organizational communications.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support senior management and managers of the various departments;
• Support and guide the Human Resources team in the achievement of its strategic plan;
• Guide the HR coordinator in supporting the department;
• Understand and align human resources practices with the business objectives of the company and the head office;
• Participate in the development of human resources objectives for the company;
• Leads human resources management projects and strategies including professional development, workforce planning and retention;
• Collaborate in the compensation and resource evaluation process;
• Responsible for recruiting and ensuring that the best talent is targeted;
• Participate in various committees closely related to human resources;
• Develop and maintain relationships with universities regarding internship programs and other industry relevant training centers;
• Build and maintain relationships with all hierarchic levels by traveling to various job sites.
