Perquisite

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • In-depth knowledge of software related to finance and accounting;
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a relevant role;
  • Excellent analytical skills, leadership and righteousness;
  • Perfect oral and written bilingualism (French and English).

Responsibilities

  • Conducts the necessary analyses to meet the department’s needs in information, presents statistics, prepares documents or reports and oversees the use and update of databanks;
  • Monitors the budget and results, in particular, capital investment projects and fixed assets;
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with particular emphasis on the reporting of capital investment projects and fixed assets;
  • Evaluates the needs of one or more fields of activity of the school board, gathers information from users and identifies potential problem areas; devises, develops and recommends possible solutions to the problems identified;
  • Coordinate and ensures the implementation of processes, ensures that deadlines are respected and proposes the required corrective measures;
  • Participates in the development and application of the standards and procedures pertaining to his or her sector of activity and ensures compliance;
  • Provides advice to the Assistant Director of Financial Resources;
  • Provides advice and support to department, school and centre administrators;
  • Participates in training and coaching of support staff;
  • Performs all other related duties assigned by the immediate superior.
