Human Resources Generalist

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations or human resources;
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in recruitment (experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset);
• Excellent French and Spanish (an asset);
• Knowledge of software programs (Office suite), social media (LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook) and BambooHR;
• Analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, good judgment and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall recruitment activities of the company (job posting, pre-selection interview, and selection interview);
• Develop strategic initiatives to recruit the appropriate talent for the company’s business activity;
• Ensure the integration of new employees;
• Conduct departure interviews;
• Promote the retention of employees by following up on new employees and organizing various activities;
• Assist and guide supervisors in managing employees and participate in weekly follow-up meetings;
• Conduct employee performance evaluations;
• Support the Administrative and Human Resources Director in her activities and in the implementation of various projects.
