Legal Translator
Our client, a leading national firm, recognized for its level of excellence and its large-scale mandates, is currently looking for a Legal Translator to join its team.

Profile
The person who’ll act as the Legal Translator must have a bachelor’s degree in translation; a certification from the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologies et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) will be considered an asset. He·She must have five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in legal translation in a recognized translation or law firm.
On a daily basis, the person will translate various legal texts from English to French, mainly in the securities field.
Our client would like to add to its team someone who masters English as well as French, both written and spoken, and who is familiar with translation tools and software. He·She must also have a thorough knowledge of the legal and financial terminology. The person needs to be able to manage priorities and deliver quality work, while meeting tight deadlines. He·She must also demonstrate a high level of attention to details and have excellent organization skills.
