Profile

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in engineering, the accreditation to the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) will be considered an asset;
• Proven experience in the construction or project management field;
• Bilingualism (predominantly English-speaking work environment);
• Dynamism, proactivity and positivism.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all contractors and subcontractors to ensure all activities are in accordance with the original plan;
• Maintain a current construction schedule and ensure that it is respected by suppliers;
• Provide creative solutions to keep the project schedule on track when delays occur;
• Identify key project risks and suggest mitigation strategies;
• Manage the procurement of project equipment (call for tender process, supplier selection, purchase order submission, etc.);
• Ensure proper communication of key project information between stakeholders, engineers and suppliers through meetings, emails, documents, etc.
