Corporate Trust Officer

Perquisite

• Direct and constant communication with the executives of recognized companies and participation in major transactions;

Profile

• Be a member of Quebec or Ontario Bar for at least one (1) year;
  OR hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, law or administration and have at least four (4) years of experience in a similar role;
• Outstanding communication and relational skills;
• Ability to review and negotiate complex legal documents;
• Rigor, meticulousness and perfect bilingualism (French and English);
• Excellent ability to analyze and assess risk;
• Experience in a financial institution an asset, as is the Securities Course in Canada.

Responsibilities

As part of this role, you will be called upon to manage a large client portfolio by assisting them directly by negotiating fiduciary services and mandate accounts.

In addition to taking part in the negotiation of fiduciary and non-fiduciary agreements and risk analysis, you will have to ensure file compliance, analyze and review documentation related to financing operations and transactions, interpret various agreements, target business opportunities and make recommendations.
