Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a dynamic organization aiming to become a key link in the international logistics supply chain, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join its team.

Profile
- Three (3) to five (5) years in a similar role, with experience in customer service;
- Experience in the shipping industry is an asset;
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility;
- Excellent communication skills in English and professional French;
- Very good customer contact skills;
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer needs and requests in a timely and efficient manner;
- Oversee orders, with respect to cargo loading and authorizations required for entry of goods into the terminals;
- Create accurate and detailed transshipment instructions for terminals to follow;
- Maintain harmonious working relationships with ocean carriers and terminals;
- Produce all necessary reports both internally and externally as required;
- Follow up on necessary documentation requested by the client and ensure that deadlines are met;
- Maintain an accurate account and understanding of customer contractual requirements for their orders, and escalate to appropriate parties when assistance is needed;
- Work cohesively with the sales department on a daily basis.
