Our client, a firm whose ultimate goal is to guide organizations towards the prevention and resolution of disputes and issues in work environments, is currently looking for a Senior Investigator to join his wonderful team located in Outremont.

Profile

  • Member of a professional corporation (Bar, CHRP, CIRC, etc.);
  • Certified harassment investigator (Quebec Bar or CHI-CHRP);
  • Experience in workplace investigations and great comprehension of the required analysis criteria regarding psychological harassment in accordance with the Act Respecting Labour Standards and the Canadian Labour Code;
  • Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken);
  • Excellent sense of organization and analytical mind;
  • Autonomy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet short deadlines;
  • Capacity to have a foolproof judgment and to lead difficult interviews;
  • Experience in giving training to different audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the company’s mission in guiding clients wrestling with issues related to a work atmosphere;
  • Suggest suitable solutions based on various company’s service principles (warn, guide and reestablish) based on encountered issues;
  • Perform investigations in a work environment;
  • Provide training aiming to advocate for and maintain agreements in a work environment;
  • Write thorough reports that will be presented to stakeholders;
  • Act as an arbitrator or a facilitator;
  • Write and review the company’s policies.
